Carrying the fencing materials through the forest took us quite some time and effort. Finally, we could get the fence posts in the ground! We also made sure to take some time off, to fish pike for dinner.

Our property has not had permanent residence for over 80 years, but has been homesteaded for at least two centuries before us. Since we've yet to receive road access, we'll start our first steps on restoring the homestead by foot, by fencing in what's left of the old garden.
