QUEENS OF SEXY (SISTAR(씨스타)_Touch my body(터치 마이 바디) MV & Dance Practice | REACTION)

Hyolyn, Soyou, Bora, Dasom - the names of damn fine and sexy ladies! Straight up!

Today I'm reacting to SISTAR's 'Touch my body' music video & dance practice and give my honest thoughts and first impressions on the song and its respective choreography as well as dance performance of said choreography (since that's two very different beasts).

I have heard the chorus of this song before, it has been a while though since that was the case. I never watched the music video though and also did not know of the dance! At least I didn't know that this was the dance for 'Touch my body'?! Because apparently some moves, especially that booty shake on one leg, seemed somewhat familiar to me.

Now that we talk about the choreography already anyway, let me talk about it more. I thought, particularly obvious to me in the dance practice, that Soyou and Hyolyn did the best job out of the four. Bora was also good though, but Hyolyn's facial expressions and Soyou's insanely clean technical moves carry the dance for me.

The song itself is absolutely iconic - and so is the music video! The concept is clear: sexy summer with bright and poppy colours, short outfits and high heels. That last sentence reads like Christmas to me though, deadass. The song itself, apart from its music video, is also super catchy and sticks to your brain from the first listen on. The bridge with Dasom's(?) vocal power display into the super funky dance break is the key to everything, that was great. Also them dancing on water in the music video at that moment is a plus in my (and probably a lot of people's) book. SISTAR is great. I love SISTAR.
