Today is Monday, November 24th. No major USD data, but we do have a JPY bank holiday and a strong risk-on tone after Trump’s tweet about the Russia–Ukraine war. That combination can create thin liquidity, fake moves and sharp reversals – especially on JPY pairs and GOLD (XAUUSD).

I’m still planning to trade, but with tighter risk and only from clear zones.

NEWS / CONTEXT

JPY Bank Holiday → lower liquidity, higher manipulation risk on JPY crosses

No major scheduled USD data today

Geopolitical headlines (Trump tweet on Russia–Ukraine) adding risk-on sentiment and potential volatility in gold

PLAN (KEY SETUPS)

GOLD (XAUUSD):

Direction: Looking for buys inside a 1H demand / order block

Inducement: Previous Day’s Low resting just above the 1H zone

Target: Resting liquidity and highs sitting above today’s 1H structure

EURUSD:

Direction: Favouring sells

Levels: 1H and 15M supply zones marked in the video

Idea: Wait for price to tap a zone, confirm, then short back into liquidity below

GBPUSD:

Structure: Not clean; still messy from last week

Level: 15M order block from late Friday with Previous Day’s High as inducement

Bias: Light sell bias only if we get clean confirmation from that zone

USDJPY:

Direction: Short-term sell idea after a steady grind higher

Level: 1H supply / order block with liquidity both above and below

Note: More liquidity sits above the zone, so partials + patience required

USDCHF:

Direction: Bullish, simple uptrend

Setup: Classic two-swing structure into a 4H demand zone

Inducement: Previous Day’s Low sitting right above the 4H order block

EURAUD:

Direction: Looking for sells from 4H supply

Execution: Let price fully sweep the mitigated area, wait for clear ChoCH/BOS, then enter on the retest

USDCAD:

Direction: Buys from a clean 1H demand area

Idea: Wait for price to respect the 1H order block before committing risk

AUDUSD:

Direction: Sells from the same 4H supply zone drawn last week

Structure: Classic two-swing setup with equal highs acting as resting liquidity above

EXECUTION

Wait for price to trade into the marked H1/H4 zones

Drop to confirmation TF (M5–M15) for ChoCH/BOS and clean entry pattern

Use fixed R-based targets (partials at 1:2 / 1:3, leave runner toward liquidity or HTF level)

Risk per trade capped (e.g., 0.5–1%) given JPY holiday and headline risk

INVALIDATION

A setup is invalid once price cleanly violates the HTF zone and closes beyond it with structure shift against the idea

If news or spreads blow out around JPY or unexpected USD headlines, I step aside and wait for the next session

Three invalid trades in a row → I’m done for the day
