In Asia, PVC prices remain stable this week as producers maintain their previous offer levels.

In China, prices are steady amid a decline in futures and reduced purchasing interest, with converters taking a cautious approach. Export activity has also slowed, particularly with the upcoming anti-dumping duties on PVC imports into India.

In Southeast Asia, buyers are holding adequate inventories, but many are refraining from spot negotiations, focusing instead on broader market trends. Market fundamentals remain weak, leading to decreased buying interest.

In India, some PVC cargoes from China are expected to arrive in November, just ahead of the December implementation of Bureau of Indian Standards regulations for imports. Offers from China have been seen at lower price levels.
