Ankita Bhandari Murder Case: The sessions court in Kotdwar, Uttarakhand, sentenced resort owner Pulkit Arya and his aides, Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit Gupta, to life imprisonment for the brutal murder of 19-year-old Ankita Bhandari. Ankita, a receptionist at Vanantra Resort in Rishikesh, was killed on September 18, 2022, after resisting Pulkit's demands to provide special services to guests. Her body was recovered from the Chilla canal six days later. The trio was convicted under IPC sections 302 (murder), 201 (concealing evidence), 354A (molestation), and the Immoral Trafficking Act. Though justice seems to be delivered, but Ankita's parents still demand that the culprits should be hanged. Death for Death
