Yaf Keru Arborek... 15 months later.

Anyone who loves the natural world, or works in conservation knows that there are some days where you feel despair. You wonder where it's all headed, if it's worth the effort and the sacrifice when it feels like so much of the world doesn't give a **** (insert your 4 letter word of choice).

And then in the midst of that you see something. Or perhaps you hear something. And you know without doubt it's Mother Nature reminding you that it's worth it. That your efforts are paying off, and that you are playing a part in healing what is broken. And then you realise once again, that there are few things more worth it than protecting our natural world.

This week we had a couple of those moments*; here is a small snapshot of Yaf Keru Arborek taken just 3 days ago - 15 months after transplantation. Substrate stabilised, transplanted coral fragments growing well, and fish and other marine life abundant - showing a remarkable comparison and difference to those areas we did not (yet) restore!

From despair to repair... smiles for days after seeing this - and we hope this makes you smile too. Our four letter word of choice? HOPE.
