The Rad Power Bikes RadTrike 1 is a sturdy electric trike with highly adjustable handlebar position, seat position, and back rest. Capable of supporting up to 415lbs (rider and load). Optional front and rear baskets, bags, and other accessories make it a capable cargo hauler. Low three wheel design, limited 14mph top speed, and bundle of reflectors and lights make it stable and safe. Extremely low standover height and minimum saddle height makes the trike approachable. Smooth acceleration feels predictable and doesn't spin the front wheel like some other trikes. Reverse mode lets you back up to load and unload. Total width is 32.5" which fits through most standard doors, the axle and nuts are not exposed on rear wheels. Single speed drivetrain is clean and reliable. Twist throttle makes starting easy, and it overrides pedal assist so you can go faster and climb stronger instantly, without pressing buttons. Large 180mm mechanical disc brake on the front wheel, intuitive back-pedal coaster brake for the right rear wheel. One year comprehensive warranty, dealers, delivery services. Some assembly required if ordering direct, but the two-half design is very smart and easy. As with most trikes, it's fairly heavy at 82lbs total... but the removable battery, seat, and folding handlebar make it easier to transport. Steel frame is very sturdy but can rust if scratched. Limited display panel readouts. Have to pay extra for USB dongles and bottle cage adapters.
