HVALDIMIR UPDATE: ❄️ Snow storm edition! ❄️ Team Hvaldimir goes out in every condition, keeping a low profile as we monitor Hvaldimir. In working with the salmon farms this week, our team witnessed a new behavior with Hvaldi: A company in a rib boat carrying 6 people arrived at the farm, giving visitors a tour to gain access to the whale. Hvaldimir actually chose to avoid the familiar boat, and the best part was the salmon farmers helped keep his whereabouts secret. Sadly we know the trackers are well paid, so they will eventually hunt him down, get their photos, and have their dive session. They will proudly feature the whale in their social media, with zero plan or intention to help the whale have a sustainable life in the wild. Hvaldimir doesn't need more visitors, more useless exposure, or more takers. He needs HELP. We're in his for Hvaldimir... so we'll be watching, documenting, and reporting.
