[ STORY ]
The tyrannical demon king "the misfit" shows the trajectory he will endeavor in this new era.

The series was originally a light novel written by Shu, starting in April 2017 on the web novel site Shosetsuka ni Naro. It was then published by Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA) in March 2018, becoming a hit novel that has published over 2.2 million copies up to date. The illustrations were created by Yoshinori Shizuma.

The first season of the TV animation series began broadcasting in July 2020. It offered a main character with an incomparably immense presence along with charming heroines, which were well received in Japan as well as abroad.

And now, after 2 years since the last broadcast, the misfit is coming back! The most popular arc of the original story, the Great Spirit Arc, is finally getting animated. The one that has appeared in front of Anos, who prevented the war between demons and humans, was a new “child of the god” who has come to annihilate the tyrannical demon king————.
The misfit who overcomes all odds heads on to a new battle.
