Sport Freestyle – Gianni Castillo – 2022 Florida State Yo-Yo Contest


Presented by Doc Lucky’s Yo-Yo Talk, the 2022 Florida State Yo-Yo Contest took place December 10th in Groveland, Florida with a full day of yo-yo action and everyone from pro’s to first-time competitors performing across a variety of divisions.


The Sport Freestyle division featured 1A and X divisions combined, using a fully subjective scoring method to allow for new players to focus on building fun routines with their favorite tricks and less penalty on mistakes. Check out Gianni Castillo’s 1-minute performance, which landed them 1st place in the finals.
