I've always loved cheesy grits with chile peppers. In fact, eating BBQ just doesn't feel right without some. Recently, a viewer turned me on to ground lupin beans. They are packed with protein and fiber, and it turns out, make a great substitute for grits. You can also add a few drops of cornbread extract (link below) if you'd like to get a more corn/hominy flavor in these.
