[Bangalore, 16 September] CAHO SAKCON 2023, a two-day healthcare event held at the NIMHANS Convention Centre in Bangalore, concluded on the 16 September 2023 with overwhelming success and enthusiastic participation from a diverse audience of 500 healthcare professionals, students, and industry experts. Hosted by the renowned Institute of Health Management Research, Bangalore the conference brought together a large and engaged community, all united by the common theme of "Operational Excellence in Healthcare."

The conference exceeded all expectations, leaving attendees inspired, informed, and motivated to tackle the challenges and opportunities within the healthcare sector. Dr. Usha Manjunath, Organizing Chairperson of CAHO SAKCON 2023 and Director of IIHMR Bangalore, set the tone for the event with her opening remarks, emphasizing the pivotal role of operational excellence in enhancing healthcare quality, accessibility, and efficiency.

The event's chief guest, Dr. CN Manjunath, Director of Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, delivered a thought-provoking address that resonated with the audience, highlighting the critical importance of operational excellence in achieving superior patient outcomes. Dr. M K Ramesh, Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, praised the collaboration between academia and industry as a catalyst for innovation and progress in healthcare management.

CAHO SAKCON 2023 featured a series of insightful sessions, including Leadership & Strategic

Management, Service Delivery Excellence & Risk Management, Paper Presentation, Technology Driven Change Adoption, and a critical discussion on the Global Patient Safety Action Plan 2021-2030. These sessions provided a platform for knowledge sharing and exploration of key issues in healthcare.
