Berkley Braid Knot Tying Instructions

1. Double the braided line and pass the loop through the eye of the hook or lure.

2. Bring the loop back parallel to the standing line and the tag end. Hold all four lines together a few inches behind the eye of the hook.

3. Wrap the tag end around the four lines eight times, working back toward the eye of the hook. It doesn't matter if you wrap toward yourself or away from yourself.

4. After making eight wraps, pass the end of the loop through the opening created behind the eye.

5. Pull on all four lines to tighten the knot steadily. Cut off the loop near the eye and trim the tag end as needed.
