A Shu officer and warrior from Jing. He first served as a scribe for Liu Bei, but later went on to serve Zhuge Liang in the Battle of Chengdu and the Nanzhong campaign. In the Northern Campaign, he remained behind at Chengdu and assisted Zhuge Liang. Following Zhuge Liang's death, he was promoted to Prime Minister.
