2024 Lucid Air Pure RWD Review - $70K Bargain?

The Lucid Air has been a breakthrough product from the California-based EV startup, and promises to blend luxury car features and styling with a sporty driving experience and a long range. The higher-end versions of the Air have already made a huge impact in the automotive industry, from the original Dream edition winning the 2022 MotorTrend Car of the Year, to the Sapphire edition gaining internet fame as the world’s fastest sedan through viral drag race videos. Lucid has recently launched the Pure RWD, which, at a starting price of 70,000 dollars, is still expensive, but is far more accessible to the general public than the higher-end versions that can go up to 250,000 dollars. I recently had the chance to test drive the Lucid Air Pure, and here are my impressions of the vehicle. The Lucid Air Pure RWD has a single 88KWh electric motor, 430 horsepower, accelerates to 60 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds, and has a range of 410 miles.
