What is Absent Vagina?
An underdeveloped or absent vaginal canal while the external appearance and physical development of the girl is completely normal due to functioning ovaries and normal hormone levels.

What other tests are done to diagnose absent vagina?
Physical examination
Ultrasound & MRI to check the presence of uterus
Hormonal & genetic tests
These help determine whether the uterus is also absent and rule out any chromosomal abnormalities.

Next steps after absent vagina diagnosis
Emotional & psychological support is the first priority.
Once the girl is ready, vaginal reconstruction surgery (vaginoplasty) is an option.
Done by skilled surgeons, this surgery allows future sexual function, although natural pregnancy is not possible.
