I Believe this has to be the ultimate test for this little grinder. I used 2 fully charged m12 batteries. 4 and a 6 ah while cutting into mild 5/8 keystock. Correction: The flatbar is 1/16 not an 1/8 and its cuts right threw it in 6 seconds. But this little grinder doesn't perform the best if your pushing to hard into the keystock. Im sure if my technique was a bit better I could avoid the over current lock up protection. I was pushing a little to hard. This will be perfect for exhaust work as it goes right threw the thinner materials. I bought it mostly just to use as a cut off. I was thinking off putting a 4 inch cutoff disk on it but I think that it would really struggle. I will post another video using a 3" and a 4" steel diamond cut off wheels.
The spindle is well balanced, its turns with zero vibration when compared to a air die grinder. Its also quiter than any air die grinder or air grinder that I own.
