We felt as though we were walking through history as we sailed along the canals & walked the streets of one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

In the 16th episode, our European Cruise ends in Trieste, Italy. We disembark the ship and take the train to Venice. We travel by boat through Venice's many canals on our way to the Ego Boutique Hotel; A nearly 5-star rated hotel just steps away from the Rialto Bridge. We tour many amazing sights including Piazza San Marco (St. Mark's Square) and the island of Murano. We have many amazing meals including two trips to our favorite restaurant in all of Europe, Bacaro Jazz. We spend two days in Venice exploring some the best and most popular tourist attractions in Venice. And we manage to find some out-of-the-way places as well.

The multitude of waterways and historic buildings make this one of the most beautiful and special places on Earth. There is a reason that this city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After we leave Venice we rent a car to begin a tour of Italy that will take us over two weeks.
