Sentinel-5P, launched in 2017 under the European Space Agency’s Copernicus program, plays a vital role in the systematic monitoring of Earth’s atmosphere. Equipped with the TROPOMI instrument, it provides an extensive range of atmospheric data — from tropospheric pollutants and greenhouse gases to aerosols and cloud cover. One of its key products is nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) concentration, which is distributed in NetCDF format and widely used for research on air quality and environmental change.
