This cleaning technique can be used on many concealed carry and home defense handguns. Firearm disassembly, cleaning and lubrication should be done on a regular basis.

We are going to clean a Smith & Wesson 38 special revolver using just a few simple items. Basically to clean a revolver, just clean the barrel and chambers with some gun oil or solvent and run a Boresnake through a couple times. Then use some gun oil and a brush to clean all surfaces and wipe down with a cotton cloth. Lubricate the revolver in the appropriate places and you are done.
