This is UK Greetings ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is the umbrella term used in the US to describe motor neurone disease, MND is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones.

Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing.

This is a disease that is highly underfunded, so the Directors at UK Greetings Gary Rowley, Kevin Vaux, James Conn, Gary Kerwin and Brian Capps decided to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to help raise money for this worthy cause.

And the UK Greetings employees dug deep helping to raise a total donation of £400 for ALS.
