Practicing double-stop fifths has many benefits. After the octave the perfect fifths are the most consonant interval that need to be played well in tune. Because of the curvature of the fingerboard and different string tensions, we have to be aware of the tendencies of pitch for each pair of strings.
Starting perpendicular to the string and with equal weight on each string, alter the angle and/or weight distribution to get perfect fifths in tune.
Use a fine tuner to guide and affirm what you are hearing.
