Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers is a kart racing video game originally based on the 3D Sonic the Hedgehog fangame Sonic Robo Blast 2, itself based on a modified version of Doom Legacy, created by Kart Krew Dev.

The game here builds upon the successes of its predecessor SRB2Kart, with features including:
• A ludicrously long list of courses and playable characters.
• A complete Grand Prix mode with CPU opponents and multiple difficulty levels.
• New and revamped items.
• Unique game systems and mechanics.
• Local split-screen multiplayer up to 4 players, and online play up to 16.
• A comprehensive Time Attack mode with replay support.
• A wealth of secrets to find.

Following up after finishing all the main cups, there's now the objective of taking on the challenge to obtain the Chaos Emeralds, via. collecting 100 rings within' each cup on Normal or higher difficulty.

What I did here was instead of playing on the Normal difficulty, I took it a step further and played all of them through the Hard difficulty. This is mainly because I learned that regardless of however many rings you've collected across each cup, if you still have a high amount all together, you'll still be able to enter the special stages.
