🔸 Who is Michael Fuller?

A pivotal figure in the fight against institutionalised racism, Michael Fuller, is the former Chief Constable that made history for the British police force on his appointment. From instigating task forces to pioneering change, Michael’s career was dedicated to building bridges between the public and the police and ensuring racism was stamped out in the force.

Backed by 40 years of dedicated work, Michael now speaks of his experiences at events, offering implementable advice to audiences committed to fighting racism in their personal and professional lives.

Becoming Britain’s first black Chief Constable in 2004 was a historic moment for policing and placed Michael in a prestigious position to tackle discrimination against ethnic minority groups from the perspective of someone who had suffered from it.

As the head of Kent Police Service, Michael made a national impact as the spearhead of the Racial and Violent Crime Task Force and Operation Trident, through which he reduced gun crime in London and institutional racism in the wake of the murder of Stephen Lawrence. Having dedicated his career to combatting serious crime, Michael is hailed as one of the 100 Great Black Britons for his efforts.
