Nils Landgren (born February 15, 1956) is a Swedish jazz, R&B, and funk trombone player and singer. He is widely recognized for playing a red trombone, earning him the nickname "The Man with the Red Horn".

Originally trained in classical trombone, Landgren transitioned into jazz and improvisation after meeting Swedish folk-jazz pioneer Bengt-Arne Wallin and trombonist Eje Thelin. Over his career, he has contributed to over 500 albums, collaborating with artists such as ABBA, The Crusaders, Eddie Harris, Bernard "Pretty" Purdie, Wyclef Jean, and Herbie Hancock.

In 1992, he formed the Nils Landgren Funk Unit, which gained international recognition after performing at the Jazz Baltica Festival in 1994. His notable albums include Planet Rock (1983), Streetfighter (1984), Ballads (1993), and the Christmas With My Friends series.
