Lesson 20 is based on what I learned a few years ago at a real estate seminar in South Brisbane. Now this rule will not be a benefit to anyone who is either complacent, happy where they are at in life or just have no goals.

This rule can apply to income, wealth, knowledge or happiness. However I am not sure how best you can measure the last two.

Anyway what this rule does is help you gauge where you are by looking at the top 5 people you spend most of your time with.

In case of income or wealth add the amount of each of those 5 people you consider your closest friends and then take the average and interestingly you may find your income sits close to that figure.

So if you are struggling to attain your goals or more importantly striving for new ones start to look at the peer group you would like to be a part of. Join such a group and ask for coaching and mentorship from these already successful people. I am sure they will be eager to help you. Just respect their time as they can be very busy people.

As you learn and grow you can possibly play it forward by helping others in groups you already a part of. Just imagine the positive ripple effect soon.
