This session focused on PFAS contamination in Cape Cod’s surface waters and fish. Presenters shared research on PFAS accumulation near Joint Base Cape Cod and discussed how firefighting foam (AFFF), septic systems, and agricultural runoff contribute to contamination. The discussion also addressed local government strategies to protect water resources and public health.
