【神武天皇お舟出の地】ぶらり...日向市美々津町 昔が残る町

今回は宮崎県日向市美々津町をぶらりします。
美々津町は港町で栄えたそうです。
上方風の商家や操船、水運業者の家、漁家などが連なり、国の重要伝統的建造物群保存地区として選定されているそうです。
江戸時代や昭和の雰囲気が混ざり合っている様な街に感じました。
美々津町は日本海軍発祥の地、神武の東征出発の地としても有名です。

This time I will wander around Misazu Town, Hyuga City, Miyazaki Prefecture.
It is said that Misazu Town prospered as a port town.
Upward style merchants, boat operators, water transporters' houses, fishermen, etc. are lined up, and it seems that it has been selected as a preservation district for important traditional buildings of the country.
I felt that the atmosphere of the Edo period and the Showa period was mixed.
Misazu Town is also famous as the birthplace of the Japan navy and the departure place of Jinmu's Eastern Expedition.
