Shannon Banks Nature Trail is a beautiful River side walking trail with River Shannon on one side and green grasslands on the another. This Trail is in the Athlone Town. It has an entry on the Sean Bar side which is the world's oldest pub. Evenings are the most beautiful as you can witness the beautiful sunset with orange sky reflections in the river water. The whole scene is very beautiful and feels like a wallpaper. The platform made to sit and relax are the very nice and strong. It is one of the top attractions in the Midlands of Ireland.
