Spring Break of 2019 I was lucky enough to be able to travel to Mexico City and ride Quimera. Quimera is one of the most intense coasters in the world! Unfortunately, on September 28th, 2019, the back car of the train derailed, killing 2 people. This accident was caused by a lack of maintenance provided by the park. As of now, the entire park is located at is closed down and will likely not reopen.

My condolences out to the family members of those affected by this accident.

The footage is not that good, to be honest, but I just wanted to share some footage of one of the world's most intense coasters.
