Humanitarian Parole stands as a limited relief for Afghan nationals who need to leave Afghanistan due to the recent overtake of the government.

Humanitarian Parole allows foreign nationals to enter the United States temporarily for humanitarian reasons or for significant public benefit. Parole is granted typically granted for 1-2 years and Parolees must either leave the country at the end of their parole period or seek maintenance os their immigration status through family based adjustment, re parole applications or an asylum application before their parole time period expires. Moreover, Parole applicants are required to show the financial means for self-support, or to have a sponsor who will guarantee their financial support during the parole period.
Below is a checklist meat to show you whats included in parole application at the minimum.
Humanitarian Parole Checklist:
[ ] Cover sheet: write in bold " Request to Expedite- Afghan Humanitarian Parole Application"
[ ] Form G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance
[ ] I-131, Application for Travel Document
[ ] Form G28 if there is an attorney representing the petitioner or parole beneficiary
[ ] I-134, Affidavit of Support
[ ] Filing fees: $575/applicant. Make the checks or money orders payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security
[ ] Fee waiver is available but we discourage the us eof it especially given the urgency of the situation for parole applicants
[ ] 2 passport style photos of beneficiary
[ ] Supporting documents (declarations, photos, civil documents- non exhaustive list)
