Major ligaments of the vertebral column: In this anatomy lesson, I cover some of the major ligaments of the vertebral column.

Ligaments primarily link bones together, keeping them stable and preventing too much movement.

The vertebral column ligaments are going to do just that: they are going to keep the vertebrae in their proper position and prevent too much movement in certain directions.
