IT'S BLACK SAILS TO THE WIND IN THE KWAAI CITY OF CAPE TOWN - A SNEAK PEEK BEHIND THE SCENES

Have you ever wondered what on earth the huge, land-locked sailing ships are doing so far from the sea, next to the N2 highway, before the turn-off to Stellenbosch? They are located within the awesome Cape Town Film Studios complex and are part of an international television series called Black Sails produced by Starz Films and serviced by Film Afrika.  
 
Kwaai City & our F.I.L.M. trainees, interns and graduates were honored and INCREDIBLY privileged to interview Black Sails Producer Chris Symes and world renowned Art Director and Production Designer,  Wolf Kroeger and to get an inside track on this massive, global production.
 
All credit to Starz Films & the local team, Film Afrika and the truly incredible, talented, professional crews, interns and trainees and the local cast who have helped to make this a reality.
