পর্তুগাল মাল্টিকালচারাল একাডেমীর উদ্যোগে পর্তুগিজ ভাষা, সংস্কৃতি ও ইতিহাস শিক্ষা কোর্স শুরুর প্রক্রিয়া সম্পূর্ণ হয়েছে। এই উপলক্ষ্যে গতকাল সন্ধ্যায় লিসবনের বাংলাদেশী অধ্যুষিত এলাকা, তাদের নিজস্ব ক্যম্পাসে এক অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়। সাংবাদিক রাসেল আহম্মেদ এর সঞ্চালনায় এবং মো. সম্রাট এর সভাপতিত্বে উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস লিসবনের দ্বিতীয় সচিব হাসান আবদুল্লাহ তহিদ, দূতাবাসের প্রশাসনিক কমকর্তা সামিউল হক, বিশিষ্ট কমিউনিটি ব্যক্তিত্ব রানা তসলিম উদ্দিন, জাহাঙ্গীর আলম, আবুল কালাম আজাদ, আব্দুল খালেক, কবি কামাল, শাহিন সায়ীদ, মো. ইকবাল ভূঁইয়া, শাহাদাৎ হোসেন, মো. রাসেল, লিটন কাদেরী, মনজুরুল হোসেন জিন্নাহ, আশরাফুল ইসলাম হাসিব, নজরুল ইসলাম সুমন, মো. শাহজাহান, জাহিদ কায়সার, মোহাম্মদ সাত্তার সহ অনেকে। উল্লেখ্য আগামী ১৪ জানুয়ারী থেকে এই কোর্স আরম্ভ হবে যেখানে লেভেল এ-১ এবং এ-২ সমমানের সার্টিফিকেট প্রদান করা হবে।
