Join me on my run of Intense Indigo, a Rom Hack of Pokémon Red/Blue where I take on the Aizome region to try to become the Pokémon league champion (and ruler of the world! Muhahaha).

In the first episode, my goals are basically to get to the next city and to catch as many Pokémon as I can to give myself as many options as possible when it comes to battles. See what Pokémon I have to work with, learn a bit about the moves I've got, what types I've got and to learn a bit more about the map and what I have access to.

Expectations before starting: Honestly before starting I wasn't sure what to expect. How much of the game is the same and how much is different? Am I capped in terms of what Pokémon I can catch? Levels? Move sets? Items? Has the storyline changed substantially, or does it follow the same route?

I guess I was expecting tougher, challenge battles, along with some changes to all the aforementioned, but not sure how little or more they would be changed.

I did attempt an earlier run but only got to the first town as I wasn't able to save my game. :(

Apologies for all the button mashing as I could only figure out how to work this game with a keyboard. 'Turbo' mode ended up restarting my game, so that's why I walk around everywhere slowly. Apologies if it's frustrating.
