How to enter the diagnostics mode on Electrolux Time Manager EWF12832, EWF14822 and EWF14922 washing machine.

To enter the diagnostics mode on your Electrolux washing machine turn on the machine and make sure the first cycle light is selected.
Press and hold the start button and the button above the start button for a few seconds until lights start to randomly flash.

Once in the diagnostics cycle, use the dial to test each individual component.

Position 1: Lights test.

Position 2: Door should lock and Wash water valve will activate and fill water into Main-Wash compartment.

Position 3: Pre-Wash water valve will fill the pre-wash compartment.

Position 4: Both wash and Pre-Wash solenoids will activate and fill the conditioner compartment.

Position 5: Not applicable on this model.

Position 6: Not applicable on this model.

Position 7: Water will fill above the heater, circulation pump will activate and the heater will turn on. Water temperature will be displayed on the screen. If you see the water temperature going up, this means your heater and thermostat are working.

Position 8: Water will fill and drum will rotate 55 RPM clockwise and 250 RPM anticlockwise. The number on the screen needs to be multiplied by 10 to get the actual drum speed. This tests the tub for leaks.

Position 9: Tests the spin cycle. Drum will rotate at maximum speed. Drum speed will be displayed on the screen. The number on the screen needs to be multiplied by 10 to get actual drum speed.

Position 10: Not applicable on this model.

To exit the diagnostics mode, turn off the machine, turn it back on and then turn it off again.
