The armed clashes in Grozny on December 4 became the third major action of the armed underground in Chechnya after the terror act in October and blow up of an infantry combat vehicle in April. A special operation which has started that night at the House of Press continues in one of the schools in Grozny. Streets are almost empty. Suspicious passers-by are brutally detained.
