Welcome to my journey exploring the limitless possibilities of cyanotype photography and other non-camera techniques! Here, I challenge myself to push the boundaries of cyanotype art, experimenting with light, texture, and the unexpected. I also plan to incorporate collages using cyanotypes, blending traditional methods with new creative layers.

For beginners: cyanotype is a mesmerizing camera-less process that involves placing objects on paper coated with iron salts, exposing it to UV light (like sunlight), and washing it to reveal iconic white and Prussian blue images.

Here’s how you can start:
1. Choose pre-treated cyanotype paper for easy, direct use or mix Jacquard’s Part A and B solutions to experiment on unique surfaces.
2. Arrange your objects on the treated paper in a shaded area. For flat items, use plexiglass to keep everything in place.
3. Expose to sunlight for around 2 minutes (longer if overcast).
4. Develop your print by rinsing in water with a touch of hydrogen peroxide.
5. Dry and enjoy your unique cyanotype creation!
