Replacing the Ignition Coil on a Honda GX engine. If there is no spark,, then the ignition coil is likely faulty, although there are other issues that can cause no spark. A a grounded primary wire on the coil can also cause the same problem.

The air gap setting on this engine is 0.4 +/- 0.2mm (0.016 +/- 0.008in). I show how to se the air gap using a standard piece of printer paper.
It's recommended to double check the air gap using a feeler gauge.
