In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to draw an impossible star using isometric paper to make each step easier and more precise. Let’s Get Started:

To start, make sure you have some isometric paper with small equilateral triangles. This type of grid helps create precise shapes based on triangles, like this impossible star. I’ve linked a free printable version below so you can follow along.

Drawing the Impossible Star:

We’ll start by marking six equal-length lines from the center. You can use a compass or simply count the triangles in the grid. Then, I’ll guide you through adding volume, layer by layer, using different colors for clarity. By the end, you’ll have a 3D star with a stunning illusion effect!
