I want to know YOUR opinion of these two vintage French tenor saxophones in the comments ↓ ↓ ↓ The SML Rev D is sometimes called a "poor man's Mark VI" but to me it's a very different horn and nothing like a Selmer. I start this video by playing around on the SML, then play a melody which I later repeat on a Mark VI for comparison. The difference you can hear is tiny relative to the difference I feel when I play the horns. What do they sound like to you?
