In this video, we will discover how to document quality goals and objectives in excel and how to plan to achieve quality objectives per clause 6.2.2 of ISO 9001 2015 standard. The standard expects to define:
what to do;
what resources we need;
who is responsible;
when we will complete the task; and
how we evaluate the results.

There are several tools that companies use to establish and achieve their objectives. Let’s say we are at the beginning of our business with our objectives in mind. The most appropriate approach for this primary stage may be a Gantt Chart. It contains all the elements that the standard asks us to consider. While the Gantt Chart is an excellent tool for initial installations or big projects, we may use a typical action list for everyday improvements to achieve quality objectives. Action lists address about the same range of requirements:
what needs to be done;
the resources we need, and who is responsible;
the target completion date; and
how we evaluate the results and others

So, these two instruments, the Gantt chart, and the action list allow us to plan quality goals and objectives in excel for significant activities to achieve our objectives. The next step relates to the state of the management system when we achieve a ballpark for our goals.
