Hey folks, Jerome Forestwood here. This video was recorded at 5:00pm on January 6, 2021. The temperature was 2 degrees on another grey overcast night. In this video I walk 1 km east on Gerrard Street through Little India, from Redwood Avenue to Coxwell Avenue. Known as the prime area catering to Toronto's Desi community, Little India is comprised of Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Nepali and Sri Lankan restaurants, cafés, grocery and clothing stores. Known as a very busy place in the evenings, at the time of this recording Toronto was in the first extension of a Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.
