The following streets run parallel to the canal: Nicolae Titulescu Embankment (Splaiul Nicolae Titulescu), Tudor Vladimirescu Embankment (Splaiul Tudor Vladimirescu), Vasile Parvan Boulevard (Bulevardul Vasile Parvan), Corneliu Coposu Boulevard (Bulevardul Corneliu Coposu), and Nistru Embankment (Splaiul Nistrului). The Bega Canal (in Hungarian Béga-csatorna) is a navigable canal in Romania and Serbia. It is 114 km long and stretches between Timișoara and the Serbian town of Titel. Of the total length, 44 km are on the territory of Romania, and the remaining 70 km on the territory of Serbia.
