The M4A3 76 W in War Thunder is the last and best of the 76mm Shermans in War Thunder. The Easy 8 is an excellent all rounder. The 76mm cannon is efficient enough at being able to penetrate everything lower than its battle rating and with the short stabilizer, the gun handling is pretty good. The problems with this tank are the enemies you're dealing with at 5.7 to 6.7 are pretty mean machines in comparison.

The M4A3 (76) W often faces King Tigers and IS-2 meaning you need to hunt for a weak spot where they can just literally shoot you anywhere. Often, the King Tiger is basically immortal to frontal fire from your gun. The Sherman isn't really fast enough to flank either, meaning you really need to win the first few engagements or get lucky to get to a good spot on a map to take people by surprise.

This really is a tank that is very difficult to master. However, the rewards are sweet if you do manage to pull it off. One of my favourite medium tanks along with the T-34-85 and the Panther series.

Sherman is always a good time, so long as you aren't full uptiered! :)
