ROYAL ICING RECIPE

Ingredients
3 tbs meringue powder (I love Genie’s Dream: https://a.co/d/6z8gNEr)
1/4 cup lukewarm water (not hot)
3 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract or your flavoring of choice)

Directions
1. In the bowl of a stand mixer, whisk together meringue powder and lukewarm water by hand until frothy.

3. Add vanilla (or desired flavoring) and mix on low/medium for a few seconds until incorporated.
4. When thinning the icing, I use a mister spray bottle to add water a little bit at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.
