Why The Granolah Arc Was A Narrative Disaster…

So the Dragon Ball Super Manga Granolah/Granola the Survivor Arc has concluded with Chapter 87 and now Goten and Trunks have become Super Heroes in Chapter 88... weird isn't it.

The Granolah Arc was ambitious but overall deeply unsatisfying on a narrative level, from Granolah's wish to his fight with Gas, the lackluster Ultra Ego, the Ultra Instinct Retcon, the unnecessary Bardock flashback and the reveal of Black Frieza/Freeza.
