WE see the pristine welded rail of the former Big Four "Bee Line" at Quincy, Ohio. Here the former Detroit Toledo & Ironton Railroad, now owned by the Indiana and Ohio Railway, crosses at grade. Morgan Tower stood here until 1986.

Then we travel to Union City, Indiana, which is on the Indiana/Ohio state line. The Bee Line crossed the Pennsylvania Railroad's Logansport-Columbus mainline. They ran side-by-side for a few blocks before the PRR crossed next to the tower. Due to the severe angle of the crossing, double-slip switches were used. The PRR was abandoned by Conrail east of here in June, 1985, and west of here to Redkey, Indiana in 1993. However, a piece of the PRR line remained at this time, branched off the Bee Line. The tracks ends in the weeds in a pile of ballast. Note the cut rail. The PRR Position Light signal stands sentinel. WE then see the right-of-way on the west side of town with a rusting relay box.
