Last year, I made this pair of chunky loafers as part of our 'Get Inspired' series. 😃

I absolutely loved this little in-house loafer project, we bought these white sole units from Etsy, which we have found to be the best place to source interesting sole units like this in small quantities.

Usually, we’d start by designing the uppers of the shoe first and then make some soles to suit the style, but when we have really fun components like this it’s much easier to design the upper around them.

There are lots of ways you can decorate that strip of leather that sits across the top of the shoe. We wanted to do something a bit different from what we’d seen before, so we created this cute flower and square motif with some of our hole punches. 🌸

Total make time = 6 hours.
