This create a highly accurate and effective sawing system. The Big Mill Basic is completely indexable, so great accuracy can be attained. You can also lengthen your Big Mill Basic by adding additional guide rail sections. If you plan on extending the Big Mill Basic past 9', you will need to purchase a U408 guide rail prop to keep the rails from sagging. As with the Timberjig, the Big Mill Basic quickly bolts to almost all chainsaws with standard (non-full wrap) handlebars. We recommend using chainsaws no smaller than 70cc for milling, and a ripping chain is recommended if you require a smooth lumber surface.
